Post-season sale alert!

Just a heads-up that most clothing stores are having their post-season sales right now. It's the best time of the year for sales!
$45 at Free People... Originally who knows

Lol I still can't decide if I want the above dress. And other things I've been eyeing are dirt cheap... Or in the case of Top Shop, the price it's supposed to be (H+M prices. Seriously that store is sooo overpriced).

Some tips:

1. Don't buy something just because it's cheap. If it fits weird or you will only wear it once, don't waste your money/closet space.

2. Go to stores normally outside your price range. You never know... You might get Alexander McQueen at H+M prices... Like I did! Doesn't cost anything to look at the sale racks.

3. Don't be tempted by the full-priced spring arrivals!

4. While some stores online are also clearing inventory, I find that the sales are better in the physical stores

5. They are getting rid of last season's trends, so if you are getting something just because it was "on trend", don't bother. You will be "sooo last season" as soon as you leave the store. As always, get something because you like it, not because it was the shiny "it" thing.

Any other frugal shopping tips?

    1. Yeah overall I wasn't too impressed...I don't know if it's because I'm less consumerist this year or if the styles sucked
