Trends I thought I loved, but now I'm not too keen on

Read more about the challenge here.

1. Leg warmers, short frilly skirts, goggles/gas masks with too much shit on them, hair falls. I'm pretty bored of it by now.

I used to LOVE LOVE this look--I used to wear this stuff every day--not just to the clubs. To show there's no hard feelings, here's an everyday look from me from 2002:

though I never liked the frilly skirt thing with cybergoth
gas mask with too much shit on it
2. same-old, same-old Lolita (ya know I loves the j-fashion!)
This used to be in the whole "I like this, but not for me" category. I love over-the-top anything, even saccharine cutsey stuff, but after like 15 years of the same-old lolita stuff, I'm getting pretty tired of it.

Occasionally, someone really makes the style their own, which is great (Isabelle--link to her lookbook, her blog is private). I've selected her non-petticoat looks, but she's got those too. Really original and I just love her looks to death. This is the kind of stuff I'm more in to.

and she can pull off the detached lace collar

3. Skeleton stuff, galaxy stuff, whatever's next

This is why I sometimes hate going online. You see something cool...and then you see it 10000000x. And before you even buy the damn thing you're already sick of it. Such is the case with the skeleton dresses, etc. Damn you, Black Milk.
